Justin Palmer Named Administrator of John C. Stennis Memorial Hospital

MERIDIAN – Officials with Rush Health Systems recently announced that Justin Palmer, who has been affiliated with Rush since 2012, has been named Administrator of John C. Stennis Memorial Hospital. Palmer has an Associate of Arts Degree from Meridian Community College, a Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Delta State University.

In making the announcement, Larkin Kennedy, Vice President of Rush Health Systems Hospital Division said, "Justin has gained valuable experience working in the Human Resources Department with Rush Health Systems during the past four years where he has been responsible for, and involved in many aspects of the department’s day-to-day operations."

Palmer is very involved in the community. He is a 2014 graduate of Leadership Lauderdale, a Deacon at Northcrest Baptist Church, a board member for the Boys and Girls Clubs of East Mississippi, participated in the Redline Community Development 5th Street Project, a Helping Hands Committee Member and a Men's Ministry Committee Member serving those in Lauderdale County.

Kennedy also expressed appreciation on behalf of Rush Health Systems to Michael Nester, who has served in the dual roles of Interim Administrator at John C. Stennis Memorial Hospital while he continued serving as Administrator at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital. Nester remains Administrator at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
