The G.I. Lab and Special Procedures at Rush offers a specialized and unique diagnostic and therapeutic full-service clinic. Housed on the first floor of the new outpatient services building are four fully equipped endoscopic rooms and fifteen recovery rooms. Services range from new patient consultation and patient follow-up to all endoscopic needs. Qualified and specially trained personnel within the department complete the admission and pre-certification process.

A comprehensive approach to patient care is offered by incorporating physicians from various specialties including surgery, radiology, oncology, and family practice.

  • Endoscopic examination
  • Gallbladder/biliary examinations
  • Pancreatic diseases evaluation

The clinic staff works with your primary care physician, both in the hospital and outpatient clinic to offer the latest in gastrointestinal services. One of the main focuses is early detection and treatment of colon polyps, colon cancer, and stomach disorders to help prevent the suffering and severe complications associated with these diseases.
